To obtain either a Display Medal or a Display Recognition for your authorized award you will be required to provide military-issued documentation authorizing your award. There are no exceptions.

Erroneously perceiving that repeated Partisan political attacks on the Clinton Presidency weakened its Ability and Determination to respond to acts of Aggression, President Saddam Hussein of Iraq launched a major attack on rebelling Kurds. Dismissing the annoyance of political opponents President Clinton alerted United Forces in the region and swiftly deployed them to counter Iraqi aggression. Clintons strong and quick military response assisted him politically by demonstrating his performance as a Commander in Chief assured his re-election the following year. Authorized for Active Duty and Ready Reserve Service service during the Operation Period.
